- I am writing a full biographical sketch in the Web Page. Briefly, I have spent most of my working life either working as a theatre director (originally as an actor), or as a teacher of Drama. I began writing seriously when I was 30, but I had written lots of stories and poems before I decided to have a go at novels. Now I try to keep a balance between these professions, and still have time to potter in the garden.
